Double Tank Trailhead

This easy washboard road leads to two different starting options for the Sycamore Canon loop hiking trail. While there is no camping at either of the trailheads, a keen eye will spot one or two dispersed camping spots along the way. There are also smaller, less traveled trails that branch out from the main trail that may offer camping options. The area could be closed or impassable in winter with deep snow. There are some great views of the San Francisco Peaks from the trail as well. Watch for wildlife, elk, deer, and bears. One bar of LTE in and out. No winter maintenance
