Trail Overview
Dillon Field on the north end starts off mellow and wide. However, it quickly devolves into a rocky trail that has mud ruts, erosion, and other obstacles. There are hill climbs and descents covered in loose rock with some larger boulders peppered in. Wash crossings with steep entrances and exits, some off-camber, as well as erosion make this trail a bit of a challenge. There is no cell service in this area of the Prescott National Forest, so offline maps are needed. The trail joins another trail to the south, Sycamore Tank, after a primitive cattle gate and wash crossing.
