Trail Overview
This is an easy trail winding through forest meadows and across small washes. Despite its name, this trail has lots of wild horses to see. This trail can be traveled in 2WD with medium clearance, however, during and after rain or snow, it can become very muddy. Please do not attempt to use the southern half while wet as that will create large ruts and ruin the trail for others. This trail is rated for full-size vehicles, but 1.5 miles from the north entrance, there is a fork that could lead you onto a 60-inch trail (Hess Draw). If in a full-size vehicle, follow the track provided.
