Carefree Hwy R87 Exit - West Aqueduct Passage

Trail Overview

This Is one of the five (5) Exit/Entrance points from Carefree Highway R89 - Use this trail if other Gates are locked. This leads to Wrangler's Nest Trail, West Vistancia Loop, Twin Buttes Trails, and other washes and trail systems South of Carefree Highway. There are two additional passages, Carefree Highway R87 Exit and Carefree Highway R87 - East Passage. This is the West Passage leading to an Aqueduct going under Carefree Hwy. Passing thru the aqueduct will deliver you to the North side of Carefree Highway at The Boulders OHV Riding Area. You can access Carefree Hwy R87 and the Boulders OHV and further points North like Castle Hot Springs Road.
