Trail Overview

This is a short access trail from Hovatter Road to access several more trails within this trail system on BLM land near Salome, Arizona. The trail is less than a mile long and is wide like a road. The trail is unmarked at both entrances and meanders up and over rolling desert hills filled with saguaro cactus. The trail is very gradual over the tiny hills, but mostly stays flat. There are lots of small loose rocks in the trail, and spiky branches from the creosote bushes sticking into the trail. It has very gradual curves, but is mostly straight. Watch out for sudden dips into a few small sand washes and ravines.
