Trail Overview
504 to Pole LineThis trail is quite rutted. Evidence of large machinery recently grading the trial was apparent, and lots of rocks lined each side of the trail. This area can get pretty muddy in spring and after a good rainstorm. A few large open spaces could be nice dispersed campsites, but keep in mind you might be sharing them with free-range cattle. The trail gets quite rocky at the end and connects with a very boulder-filled telephone line trail. This is where the main trail ends. It appears on the map to continue out to a viewpoint, but no such path could be seen any longer at the time of recording.
Difficulty
Lots of rocky sections that are more annoying than difficult. No winter maintenance may be sloppy when wet.
