V Notch

Trail Overview

V Notch at Morris Mountain ORV Park is a near vertical ledge at around 8 feet depending on your approach angle. If you want to sit back and watch, this trail offers many views as this is the central point of a playground-type area. This trail is covered in large boulders with very little tree coverage, so bring your sunscreen. There is a path to the left of the V Notch that allows you to continue as a group to the higher elevation part of the trail without the V Notch being a gatekeeper.

High approach angles and uneven terrain provide a chance for rollovers on the main obstacle that the trail is named for, although there are routes around it.
