Stretching from the entrance gate to the northeast, it serves as a central route connecting visitors to many of the park's key features and trails. Its standout attraction, "Little Moab," is a must-see sandstone obstacle offering multiple lines for off-roaders of all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned adventurers. The trail provides scenic views, varied terrain, and a mix of mild and challenging sections, making it an essential part of the park's trail network. Whether you're navigating shallow ruts, tackling minor mud holes, or exploring its more technical segments, the Main Access Trail delivers a well-rounded off-road experience.

Difficulty
The Main Access Trail is primarily composed of hard-packed dirt with occasional rock beds placed by the maintenance team. Most of the trail is easy to navigate, featuring small ledges, shallow ruts, and minor mud holes. However, trail conditions can vary with weather, and standing water holes are common after heavy rain, with some being deceptively deep. One of the more challenging sections occurs near Trail 508, where a steep descent with a 32-degree pitch requires a four-wheel drive for the return climb.
