Trail Overview

Gator is a trail much like Hornets Nest--large slate and shale rock formations, only much larger. This trail is designed to be run close to the tree that has claimed many victims, as you can see by the damage to the tree trunk. This has caused many to cheat around and create a bypass of sorts to the right. Many claim to have completed Gator as a whole, but few actually run the trail as it was designed.

History

This trail was named Gator by the large rock formation in the middle of the trail that resembles an alligator head.
