Trail Overview
250 Acre Trail is a cruiser's paradise. This trail contours to the mountainside with multiple trails of the same difficulty intersecting and splitting off. This is a perfect trail to let the younger riders take their time, as there are few to no obstacles that can pose a threat. The well-manicured trail does have remains of tree limbs on the side of the trail, otherwise a well-packed dirt road to escape the stresses of life. Should you decide to be more adventurous, there is a section of more difficult trails on the north end with a rock wall climb (East View). Maintain a safe speed as there are multiple blind intersections on this trail, and make sure to stay to one side to not stop traffic. 250 Acre Trail is also marked as the highest point in Franklin County, Alabama.
