Trail Overview
You can access this trail from either San Fernando Este or Cerro Santa Teresa. If you start from Cerro Santa Teresa, take the fork to the right and begin by crossing a few relatively easy sandy arroyos. The rest of the trail is straightforward, typically following two parallel tracks. The main path is well-worn with defined ruts and 2 to 3 inches of sand throughout. To avoid the sand buildup, you can occasionally switch to the parallel tracks, which are newer, less traveled, and generally smoother. At the end of this mapped section, where San Fernando East and West converge, you can turn right to loop back via the East trail or continue straight ahead for further exploration.

Difficulty
This trail is generally straightforward but requires 4WD due to multiple arroyo crossings and a layer of shallow sand that stretches along most of the route.
