Trail Overview

Buckle up for a thrill with L'Escalier. This trail takes place on a powerline trail loaded with boulder-sized rocks, off-camber sections, water crossings, steep uphill and downhill segments, and muddy holes at some places, very scenic at times, this is one of the best trails Weir has to offer you.

Difficulty

Boulders ranging from 2 feet to 5 feet make the first hard pass, which takes place on a steep uphill section loaded with boulders. You'll want a spotter for this trail as you need to pick your line carefully. Lockers are almost mandatory. We completed this with one Rocklander Rubicon X on 37s, one Willy's with lockers on 35s, and one Gladiator Rubicon on 35s. There are some tight spots at the end with fallen trees, but we used a side trail and everything was okay!
