Trail Overview
The Trout Lake Road Trail connects near the south end of Roxbury Road at Paradise Lake to Trout Lake Road near the north end of Trout Lake in New Albany. Starting from the west end at Roxbury Road, the trail begins as a two-track hard-packed dirt road with worn rocky sections and minor washouts on hills. The west half contains heavy brush on both sides that makes the route very narrow, and pinstriping is guaranteed. At 1.9 kilometres from the west end, there is a T intersection where you should turn right to the east. Continuing on, at 4.1 kilometres, there is another T intersection where you should keep straight to stay on the trail. Beyond this point, the road widens slightly into a better-maintained dirt logging road. As you approach the east end, the trail improves further and eventually finishes as a decently wide gravel road that is much easier to travel.

Difficulty
The difficulty comes from the narrow overgrown brush and the loose rocky hills. These sections are not severe, but they require patience and careful driving, especially for larger vehicles.
