Trail Overview
The trail begins as a wide, two-lane gravel road before narrowing into a rugged single-lane path with washouts, ruts, and rocky inclines. Stumps line the edges of the trail, requiring careful navigation. As you gain elevation, enjoy a scenic overlook of Steward Lake before the terrain shifts to a dirt path that can become quite soft and muddy in wet conditions. Continuing on, the trail transitions back to a single-lane gravel road as you pass Lawhie Lake, eventually leading back to paved roads.
