Trail Overview
This trail is open year-round to wheeled vehicles, although, in the winter, it can prove quite challenging due to the potential for deep snow. In the spring, summer, and fall, any 4x4 vehicle can make it through this trail; however, in winter, a winch and lockers may be necessary depending on how much snow is down. The trail consists of three fairly steep, somewhat rocky hills and a couple of deep washes. On the Zealand end of the trail, there is a small sand pit, and on the Greenhill Lake end of the trail, there is a water hole that can be up to 18 inches deep, depending on rainfall, with about 4 inches of silt on top of a hard bottom.
