Trail Overview

The Wrangler Cabin access road can be found at the junction of Morrissey Forest Service Road & Coal Creek Road. The McEvoy Cr Forest Service Rd is an easy-maintained road in the summer & can be very difficult in the winter unless you are on a snowmobile. The wrangler Cabin is a shelter cabin fitted with a wood stove, firewood, on-deck BBQ grill & 2 outhouses. Please be respectful with your garbage & leave the facilities better than you found them. A great effort was made to offer this facility. This Road is two-vehicle wide with a hardpack dirt road mix with gravel.

Access Description

The best approach is the Morrissey Forest service road. From Fernie on the Coal creek road the bridge was out at the time of this post & you can use the bypass road with a high clearance 4x4 since you have to cross a creek that can be tricky on an adventure bike.
