Trail Overview

Sheepy Crawly is a moderately challenging trail with steep hill climbs, off-camber sections, washouts, rock sections, and deep ruts. There is an alternate route that bypasses the difficult sections, a gentle sweeping switchback trail that crosses the difficult trail multiple times. If the difficult trail becomes too much, you have the option of the easier route to make it to the top. When reaching the top, you are rewarded with two different views, one overlooking Shuswap Lake and an old abandoned fire lookout that is perched on a cliff with some amazing views. For the difficult section, 35-inch tires and high ground clearance are advised. You may need 37-inch tires to make it through the rutted top section. This is a summer through fall trail depending on snow levels. This trail is in the high alpine please stay on designated trails.
