Trail Overview
This pass is very scenic with many different ground surfaces to tackle. This jeep trail is mostly dirt at the start and becomes rockier as you go. 4X4 is definitely required. You will find loose rocks the size of softballs with large & loose gravel on the shelf road above the tree line. When you get to the top of the pass, you will find two open areas that can be used as a campsite & can easily accommodate 10 vehicles. This is where the trail ends at the Alberta/British Columbia Border. Keep in mind this is an out-of-cell area, therefore, don't forget to download your map. On the shelf road, due to early-season typical snow drift, it may not be passable. Usually, the shelf road is passable to the top on 4 wheels by June 15th.
