Kaaba Mine Trail

Trail Overview

This 19.4-mile loop goes through the Kaaba Wash and passes the abandoned Kaaba Mine. The first 7 miles of this trail are part of the old Highway 93, where you will see some remnants of pavement scattered on the trail. At 11.2 miles you will arrive at Kaaba Mines, there is an optional obstacle that passes through a short tunnel, this obstacle is not passable by stock vehicles. The remaining 8.2 miles of this trail pass through narrow washes with small rock gardens (rocks less than 10") and steep grades. This is an active open range area so keep watch for cattle.
