Trail Overview
This service road connects to a small network of trails along the rim and is generally easy, though consistently rough. The surface is rutted and rocky, creating a bumpy ride with occasional off-camber sections from washouts. There are many dispersed camp spots throughout the forest, making it a great area to base camp. The final mile becomes noticeably rougher, with more rocks and small ledges that slow travel to a crawl and require high clearance. We ended the track at a point where full-size vehicles should turn around, although the road does continue beyond. Despite some maps indicating a non-motorized trail, the route appears to carry on toward Strawberry, becoming much narrower and more suited for 50-inch side-by-sides, quads, and motos. Beyond this point, it turns into a narrow shelf road with very limited turnaround options for larger vehicles.

Difficulty
This trail is rated 3/10 due to the rutted terrain and rocky sections with small ledges. While not highly technical, high clearance is needed, and drivers should be comfortable with rough, slow-going conditions and tight vegetation.
