This is a short, easy road route. Mainly to get "seat time", this route travels along forested roads and through logged out areas. Recent logging activity may restrict travel on Hanson Creek Rd, however, weekends are usually open. Dusty roads during the dry periods, and potential muddy conditions following storms.

Access Description

From Colville, take Hwy 20 east to the Little Pend Oreille Lakes recreation area, about 25 miles. Turn left on S. Fork Mill Creek Rd, proceed less than 1000' to the gravel parking area on the left. Watch for OHV traffic popping in and out of the woods on either side of the road. Active camping area.
