The 502 trail starts North of the main Fivemile Pass parking area off 73. It is 1.1 miles long and runs NW-SE. The track is loose dirt and crosses mostly open fields with some pine trees and sagebrush alongside it. The ground surface is loose dirt with hardly any rocks. Beware of several dirt road crossings with other vehicle traffic.
