Trail Overview

This scenic connector packs a little bit of everything into one unforgettable ride. Entering from North Springbrook Road, you'll be greeted by deep sand, steep climbs, and towering dirt walls that immediately set the tone for the adventure ahead. Fallen trees arch overhead, creating a tunnel-like passage that feels like nature built it just for off-roaders. Expect ruts ranging from 6 to 12 inches deep, along with a few blind hills and corners that will keep you alert and engaged. As the trail winds along, it opens up to sweeping views of Boyne Mountain Resort and the rolling hills of northern Michigan stretching into the distance. It's the kind of view that makes you want to stop, take a breath, and appreciate where your tires have taken you. A portion of this route travels briefly through private property, and several side trails branch off into private land. Please stay on the designated trail and respect posted boundaries so this incredible route remains open for everyone to enjoy. In winter, this becomes an active snowmobile corridor. Convenient access is available from the north via the non-seasonal end of Holms Road off U.S. 131, making it an excellent gateway to even more adventure. From here, you can easily connect to Trail 763, the Holms Road Loop, and Natural Dam Trail, making this a perfect link in a full day of exploration.
