Trail Overview

This trail starts in a sandy wash on LP4180. It is sandy until you turn out of the wash onto LP089. Then you drive up into the desert terrain. Parts of this trail are flat, and other parts are up and down in and out of washes. Watch out for the whoop de doos! There is one tight turn into a wash that is slightly off camber. You'll be travelling eastward towards Highway 72, which runs from US Route 60 north to Parker. There are great views of the Plomosa Mountains to the west. Right before Highway 72, this trail turns south and heads for Bouse, Arizona. There are services in Bouse.

Access Description

On the southern end of this trail, start LP4180 off of trail BLM 0080a (Plomosa Mountains Trail) and follow it as it leads you towards Highway 72 to the east. From the town of Bouse, go out La Posa road, which turns into trail Bs1304, and follow it around the mountains to BLM 0080a.
