Trail Overview

This is a short section of ATV trail through a forest of pines and sagebrush, riding across a low hilltop. The two-track is mostly dirt, with small embedded rocks, shallow ruts and dips, and gradual curves. It goes through some wide open meadows on the hilltop that have nice views, then goes through more forested sections with more frequent embedded rock. On the south end, there is a steep descent down to the FS Road 10278. This descent is the hardest part of the trail, as it has some loose rock on the surface, with a few roots. The dirt is loamy with good traction, though, so it's not overly difficult. The descent puts you directly across from the viewpoint of the Little Brush Creek Cave, which is a neat overlook of a large cave opening that shouldn't be missed.
