West Desert Hills Trail

Trail Overview

West Desert Hills Trail is a bumpy dirt route with many scattered rocks that eventually leads out to a popular shooting area. While the trail is rough in places, there are no technical sections or major obstacles, making it relatively easy to navigate. The trail is lined with desert creosote and cholla cactus and follows along a fence line before connecting with other nearby trails and shooting areas near the hillside. It's a great trail for learning how to use your 4x4 and getting comfortable driving on uneven terrain. Conditions can change quickly, and the trail would likely become very muddy and slick during wet weather, so use caution if rain is expected.
