Trail Overview

Sand Road is a winding gravel road through Tioga State Forest, serving to connect Baldwin Run Road and Right Asaph Road while providing access to a number of seasonal spur trails and several private land parcels. This relatively high elevation route provides a few glimpses of scenery and winds through some beautiful sections of forest. The road is generally well-maintained except in winter, and there are very few obstacles to consider.
