Trail Overview

King Snake Trail is no joke. This is a dirt bike-only trail in the upper section of Rowher Flats OHV. Riding from west to east, this trail begins off the Sierra OHV Trail. The trail is a rugged mix of sharp rocks and deeply rutted sections, where your line choice matters just as much as your throttle control. Loose dirt and rocks keep traction unpredictable. If traveling in the west-to-east direction, the trail is mostly uphill with tight switchbacks the whole way up. This trail will truly test both balance and clutch work as you navigate steep rocky sections and twisting turns, all with little margin for error. This isn't a trail for beginners--King Snake punishes hesitation! Keep your momentum going and pick your line wisely. It's the kind of ride that challenges even seasoned riders, but for those who can handle it, the payoff is pure adrenaline and one of those "I did that!" moments.

Difficulty

The loose rock, ruts, and switchback are what give this trail an 8. Traction is hard to come by, and in several sections, the ruts are so deep that it's hard to keep your feet on the pegs.
