Trail Overview
This out-and-back trail is a small wash cutting through various trees and brush, starting and ending at EC1146. The surface features sections of soft sand, packed sand, and rocks, creating varied terrain. You'll encounter step-ups and step-downs all less than 12 inches scattered throughout the route. The trail has a lot of overgrown trees and vegetation with some low-hanging trees that will rub the top of your truck, so be prepared for contact. The route runs along a mud wall where you can see that part of it has collapsed, serving as a reminder to always be cautious when camping next to mud walls. Be on the lookout for wild burros that roam this area. Unfortunately, the trail ends early due to overgrown vegetation blocking further progress.

Difficulty
The combination of soft sand sections, step-ups and downs, and overgrown vegetation creates technical challenges. Four wheel drive is recommended for the soft sand. The low-hanging trees require attention and will make contact with taller vehicles. The overgrown vegetation makes navigation difficult and ultimately ends the trail prematurely. The narrow wash with dense vegetation leaves little margin for error.
