Volunteer Trail Cleanup Event: Ravalli County, MT
onX Offroad and Toyota are partnering with Ravalli County Off Road User Association to bring the Trail Revival Project back to Montana—this time to Ravalli County’s Sapphire Mountains. We’re calling for volunteers to help rehab sections, clear downed trees, and maintain the trails. Sign up below to volunteer, and come ready to help maintain trail access while connecting with fellow off-roaders in your area.
Please Note:
- Directions to Ambrose Saddle: From Stevensville, head east out of town and go north on Eastside Highway to the Ambrose Road (it is located in a 90 degree turn in the road and a straight “turn” off the main road). Proceed east on Ambrose until you get to the saddle. It is an easy grade on Forest Service Road #428, accessible by 2WD vehicles and no issue for trailers. There are a few rocky spots along the way, but the road is in generally good condition. The road does have traffic, so expect others coming the opposite direction.
- This is a two-day volunteer trail work weekend. If you can only make one day, you’re still welcome to join, and note which day you’ll be there in the volunteer registration form.
- There is limited dry camping available in the area if you prefer to camp out before or during the workdays. There are no facilities on site at Ambrose Saddle.
🔥Win a Chainsaw! We want to give a shout out and thank you to our volunteers!
There will be giveaways each day from our many sponsors, including two Stihl
chainsaws, one to be given away each day of the event! There will be motorcycle and
offroad accessories and tools given away each day along with various gift cards.
