RH 44

Trail Overview

RH 44 is a short, easy connector trail located in the southern segment of the Rock House system near Twin Hollow Campground. The trail features a shelfy layout with a mix of wide and narrow sections, more pronounced ruts than nearby routes, and a few steeper climbing spots that lead into gradual switchbacks. Expect seasonal mud puddles, especially in spring. It's well-suited as a warm-up loop or beginner-friendly ride near the town of Gilbert, West Virginia.

This is an easy SxS route with some steep spots and deeper ruts, but is overall ideal for all skill levels. Note that this is considered More Difficult by Hatfield McCoy's rating system.
