Trail Overview

Trail P10 is a 4.5-mile route that begins at the southern edge of the Pocahontas Trail System off Simmons River Road. It starts with a brief, steeper climb before transitioning into a gradual, winding path along the hillsides. The trail surface is smooth and easy, with occasional puddles, minor ruts, and scattered loose rocks. While mostly wide, some sections narrow slightly as the trail passes through dense rhododendron. The north end connects with Trail P12, making P10 a scenic and accessible longer route through the system.
