DA 23

Trail Overview

DA 23 is a long, nearly 5-mile trail that winds gradually through lush forest and around scenic rocky hillsides. The route is mostly wide, smooth, and easy, with shallow ruts and minor loose rock typical of the system's easy-rated trails. It offers great visibility and two-way travel, with sweeping views in the open sections under the powerlines. While primarily gradual, there's one steeper section with more pronounced ruts and loose rock. A pipeline runs along parts of the trail, and you might even spot a black bear along the way.
