Trail Overview
This road follows between the Main Canal and Trail Lake. The dirt road is rocky and bumpy but is 2WD capable. There are plenty of spots to park, camp, and fish along Trail Lake, especially when the lake is low. At the end of the levy is where the Main Canal flows out of the mountainside all the way from Banks Lake. If you attempt to go west of the Main Canal to get up to Deep Lake, the road has a tank trap that is not passable. You can still exit out the northeast as mapped, just be mindful to close the gates behind you for grazing cattle.

Difficulty
The dirt road is rocky and bumpy along the levy but becomes more hard-packed as you get away from the lake. There are some steep sections, exposure, and loose rocks as you drive around the lake, but most are avoidable on the main path.
