Trail Overview

Once upon a time, this route was a paved road. But that pavement is progressively fading back into the Earth. Once upon a time, this road lead up and into part of the Olympic National Forest, but now there is a cement barricade that cuts the trail short. Beyond that barricade are downed trees and it seems they just no longer clear it. Downed trees/limbs and fallen rocks are present on the way up. You'll pass a few small waterfalls tucked away in the trail curves. It's ultimately a short, easy, out-and-back experience.

Difficulty

Dirt or rocky road, typically unmaintained after rain or snow. You may encounter shallow water crossings and obstacles under 12" on the trail, including small ledges. Roads are typically one to two vehicles wide.
