Trail Overview
This trail offers incredible views of surrounding valleys and hills. It is relatively well maintained with a mix of gravel and medium sharp rocks. The west end of the trail becomes a narrow, rough and windy path through the trees. Be prepared to clear fallen trees and squeeze between old deadfall. This section also contains a patch of deep ruts and dips ranging from 1 to 3 feet deep. Full size vehicles and vehicles with less than 10 inches of ground clearance should avoid this section of the trail. For those who can navigate this terrain, the views at the west end of Bethel Ridge are incredible.
Difficulty
While the eastern 2/3 of the trail are easy, the western 1/3 is highly technical with narrow turns, deep ruts and mud.
