Berry Creek

About 2-3 miles in there are a couple trees that are leaning over the trail. About 4-5 miles in lots of snow pack on the upper line. For the most part it was easy going.

Icy ruts, 2 inches of powder on top in most areas

This trail has a few scenic views of Mt Rainier. The dates on onx that show the open dates of April thru November 30th are wrong. We went up on 12/17/23 and it was open, however not much traffic goes up which is nice to have a trail for yourself, which make self recovery gear a must. Were missing a winch so we turned back at the 10 mi. mark where it meets road 8460000. Road was doable but just to be safe since there isn't much spots to pull off or turn around. We didn't see anyone go up all day. At mile 9 from the start we found the best pullout view to relax and cook out at. Nice little water fall with small pullout at mile 2 as well worth checking out with a path down to the water. No cell reception so make sure to download your maps in advance.
