Trail Overview

This is a side trail of Motoqua Road that offers a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with a birthing cave. The trail is somewhat challenging for the last couple of miles and you will definitely need a high clearance vehicle that can navigate sharper turns to get into the side from this side. The trip is spectacular with views of exceptional rock formations. While near the cave be sure to look around and see if you can find the small arch with a pine under the arch.

Difficulty

Most of the first half of the trail is rated a 2 however, the second half has some steeper rocky climbs, rock ledges, sharp turns and other obstacles that make this a fun adventure for the properly equipped vehicle.

Far more scenic and fun than expected with a few rock ledges to climb. I highly recommend running it starting from the south as mapped but can be turned into multiple loops.
