Trail Overview
This 3.5-mile long trail is a desert single track that winds around the mesas in the Chimney Rock riding area. It goes in and out of washes, and up small hill climbs. The trail is mostly hard-packed dirt with loose rocks. Most of the east half is on a small ridge line, going from the top of one hill down to a saddle, then up to the next hill. It's fast and flowy, and is one of the easier trails in the area without big rock ledges, although a few sections are a bit rockier. You'll have endless views of the whole desert valley when up on the ridge lines. When it turns south on the west end, it starts paralleling a sandy wash, crossing it several times, until it ends at an intersection with an ATV trail and another couple of singletracks.
