Trail Overview
This 2-mile track moves east to west across the Sevier Plateau, and it connects Forest Service Trails 42456, 41232, and 41223. On its east end, it connects with Monroe Mountain Road to Upper Box Creek Reservoir Trail. It runs parallel to and south of Box Creek. There are a couple of spur trails that run north from this track and go to Box Creek. You can tell from the tall grass growing in the trail that it's less traveled than most, so you get away from other vehicles and people and get deeper into the forest where you're more likely to find wildlife in the summer, spring, and fall. There is an abundance of water. The wildflowers in the summertime are magnificent. In the fall, the aspen trees here will be turning all shades of beautiful! It's a good trail. You move over and around the hills in this area of the forest with a bit of erosion in places. There are some manageable rocks, making it an easy ride.
