Trail Overview
Trail 212 is a 2-mile-long easy ATV trail through the Ashley National Forest. The north end is a continuation of the road section of FS 212. It turns into ATV designation at the intersection with Trail 25, and continues south. It goes through the forest on a wide two-track covered in a light layer of loose rock that does not affect the difficulty, riding between fir trees. The trail is mostly smooth, fast, and straight, but watch out for a few sudden mud puddles and shallow ruts. It passes the intersection with Trail 28, and then the south end dead-ends in the forest after a semi-steep climb with a light layer of loose rocks. This trail is part of the Outlaw Route - a 38-mile loop through this trail system with a mix of easy and advanced segments of trail.
