** Please note - only a portion of this trail is closed due to a recent BLM travel management decision. A majority of this trail can still be driven, but not as described by the Guided Trail. Please refer to the closed styling (orange highlight) to note which portions are closed. This 6.1-mile point-to-point trail is the first half of the entire 3D trail. The trail begins at the Monitor and Merrimack Trailhead, drives down Bartlett Wash road, and the trail veers off to the left. Halfway through this trail make a quick stop at Tusher Tunnel--many scenic views along this trail.
