Trail Overview

Ditney Mountain Trail (66) is a rocky trail with narrow twists and turns and a few fun mud holes. Be sure you are in a rig you don't mind limbs scratching alongside your rig. A few washouts will test your flex. Stock 4X4s can make this trail but are not recommended. You can tell the trail is not driven very much due to the saplings growing in the trail at some points. However, if you can make it to where the road is cleared on both sides of trees you are met with some beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

Difficulty

Trail is very narrow, rocky all the way makes for a bumpy ride. The washouts will get you off camber while encountering sharp turns and steep hill climbs at the same time in some places.

Trail was mostly dry with 3-4 small water/mud holes a foot or less deep and mostly hard bottom. Whole trail is very bumpy, recommend airing down for a possibly smoother ride. Could have gone the whole trail in 2wd but used 4wd through the mud/water due to single vehicle trip and no winch. Optional more difficult terrain but stock 2wd truck can likely make it through this whole track. Beautiful views at the tops though never completely clear due to trees and brush. I was hoping for a slightly smoother/ more difficult trail so I was disappointed. But may be worth the view for some.
