Trail Overview

Narrow trail that a tornado touched down on several years ago. There is a large buried rock ledge that spans the width of the trail in the top section. Runoff can expose the rock, leaving a sharp drop-off. Keep your eyes open, or a nosebleed could be in your future.

Upper section has large rock that can be a serious obstacle if eroded. Also has natural spring that keeps middle section muddy.

Access Description

Tornado Alley trail branches off of the upper east section of Palmetto Crawler and terminates on the lower part of Rocker Knocker Bypass. It also has several connections to other trails along it length.
