Trail Overview

The Hicks Run West Road follows both the West branch of the Hicks Run waterway. This mixed hard-packed crushed stone / packed dirt road is well-maintained and offers plenty of chances to pull off and fish or explore the woods all around you. There are a couple of designated campsites along the route, including Middle Camp and Old Landing.

Access Description

Follow Hicks Run Road off from Route 555, aka Elk Scenic Drive, to the Junction. Go left at the junction and follow the West Branch, or continue straight to traverse the East Branch Road. Both offer different landscapes and terrain to keep you fully involved in the journey.
