Trail Overview

Upper Trailhead- A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Upper Trailhead has been around a long time, but it was never named until 2026. At just a few hundred feet in length, Upper Trailhead is entirely on a grade running from the upper parking lot to Trail 5C near the shower house. It is both embedded and loose rock, along with some potential rutting and changing conditions due to water runoff. Upper Trailhead should be able to be traversed by most any rider on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in January 2026.

This is an easier dirt trail. You will encounter some obstacles under 12 inches, potential uneven terrain, and/or loose rocks. This trail is one vehicle wide with locations to pass.
