Trail Overview

Trail 8G- A trail of the Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 8G is an original trail to the park. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. Trail 8G is 2/10th of a mile in length and is part of the larger network at the park. This trail is dirt, loose rocks, and has some potential for standing water on the trail in locations. Trail 8G is a cut-off route for the Outer Loop connecting it to Trail 9B. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. The trail is mostly in the woods, though it does open up in a location or two. There is some grade where you may encounter a shelf and lose rocks up to 18 inches. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in June 2025.

Difficulty

This is an uneven, rutted dirt trail with loose rocks and washes and minor mud holes. The trail is one vehicle wide with limited places to pass.
