Trail Overview

Trail 6- A trail of the Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 6 can be transversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with some care. At just under a half mile in length, this trail is used to access one of the slate borrow pits at the facility with larger equipment to perform trail maintenance. Therefore, this trail is dirt and rocks on a grade, and it may experience changing conditions with time. It also serves as a shortcut between the Outer Loop and the Inner Loop. You may encounter some washouts and rutting. It is a wider trail, one to two vehicles wide. There are loose rocks on this trail. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. The trail travels through a wooded location and an open area. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in June 2025.

This is an easier dirt trail with some uneven and rutted sections. You will encounter loose rocks and obstacles. This trail is one to two vehicles wide with locations to pass entirely on a grade.
