Trail Overview

Trail 5I- A trail of the Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 5I is an original trail to the park. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with some skill. At just under 2/10ths of a mile in length, this trail is part of the larger network at the park. This trail is dirt and rocks. It serves as a connector via other trails to travel between Coal Haul Road and the Inner Loop through the area known as Green Tank. You may encounter some washouts and rutting along with some larger loose rocks. This trail travels all on a grade. It is a wider trail with ample room to pass. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. The trail travels all through the open and offers nice views of the surrounding area. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in June 2025.

Difficulty

This is an uneven, rutted dirt trail with loose rocks and washes all on a grade. Some rocks are up to 18 inches.
