Trail Overview

Trail 13D- A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 13D is an original trail to the park, and it should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with a little skill. Trail 13D is just under 2/10ths of a mile in length and is part of the larger network at the park. Trail 13D had an end rerouted in the 2025 season due to the windmill construction project. One end of the trail starts off Turbine 12 Road, with the other end being at the intersection of Trails 11J and 14C. It has both loose and embedded rocks and travels through the woods and an open area, and has some tight trees in the woods. It is one machine wide and is open to motorcycles, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in June 2025.

Difficulty

This is an easier dirt trail with some uneven and rutted sections. You will encounter some standing water in locations, loose rocks, and obstacles under 12 inches. This trail is one vehicle wide with locations to pass.
